Dr. Kosiorek recently received Diplomat status in Orthodontics through Light Force Orthodontics Society. A distinction achieved by less than 10% of its members by a peer reviewed process. This achievement requires multi-year preparation through education, a minimum of 500 hours of additional orthodontic training, a review and critique of multiple orthodontic cases showing proficiency in all phases of orthodontic care, and an original paper written and presented at the annual international meeting. As a result of his dedication to Dentistry and Orthodontics through teaching and mentoring other professionals, Dr. Kosiorek was elected to vice-president of the Board of Examiners evaluating other orthodontic professionals working to achieve this high honor.
